You worth more than you know

Many of us experience worry and frustration because we have allowed society and time to dictate our worth, instead of making them recognize our true value. It is as though we are robots controlled by a system, and when we do not conform, we feel overwhelmed. We are told what to study, how long to study, what job to pursue, and even whom to marry.

However, life is not meant to be lived like that. When we let systems and time rule us, we become "used" and powerless. Our frustration stems from this powerlessness, not from our lack of ability or beauty. We must take control by asserting our purpose and planning. Purpose is knowing who we are, how we are, and what we were created to do. Planning is deciding when to do what. Even if we do not yet know our exact purpose, understanding ourselves is a critical first step.

We must not let society and time define us. Instead, we must let our lives define us. We are who God created us to be, and no one else can decide that for us. Our faith should bring out the best in us, and we must never forget that we are unique and have a valuable role to play in the world.

PRAYER:* “Thank You, Almighty Father for creating me in Your glorious image. Today, Grant me the strength to stay focus on You in running the race marked out for me. I refuse to allow society to define me. I am Your child and Your word define me in Jesus name.”*
