You are God's solution to a problem

God’s solution to man’s problems has always been through man. The solution to our health problems, finance problems, communication, and transportation problems is put in mankind. In simple terms, you are God’s solution to a problem on earth. That is what makes you relevant. When man needed salvation, He came down Himself as a man to solve it as a proof that He made man to express His glory.

However, just because there is a need doesn’t necessarily mean just anyone should be able to solve it. Rather each man has a specific role and mandate to contribute towards the total betterment of the world. Consider what Genesis 2:8,15 says “Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden;…The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it”. God was intentional about it. He specially made a garden and specifically put man in it to work it though in verse 5, God refused to send rain for the earth to grow because there wasn’t man to work the entire earth.

God is always intentional about what He does. He always has a plan; how He makes it, where He puts it, and even when He does it. It’s called “purpose”. Your ability to see that is called “vision”. And, in between you today and that vision is called “plan”. All the problems we see and complain about have been solved by God already. And, those solutions are inside mankind. They may lie dormant under layers of failure, fear or low self-esteem but they are in us.

They may be raw and underdeveloped but if we will not let the self-doubt, bad habits, mediocrity, poor planning, laziness and selfishness to bury them, but will work them out, we will be amazed at the solutions in us. We all carry greatness. You are God’s solution to a problem on earth.
