Today is a New Beginning: Finding Hope and Assurance in Christ

It's easy to get caught up in the memories and regrets of the past, whether they be painful or joyful. But it's important to remember that yesterday is gone and we can't change it. The failures, losses, and pains of yesterday may linger in our minds, as well as the memories of loved ones who have passed away or the special moments that have faded into the past. But we have to let go of yesterday and embrace the present.

Today is a new beginning, a chance to let go of the weight of the past and have hope for the future. As believers in Christ, we have the assurance that He is with us every step of the way and that all things are working for our good. As the songwriter says, "I don't worry over the future, For I know what Jesus said. And today I'll walk beside Him, For He knows what is ahead. Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand. But I know who holds tomorrow. And I know who holds my hand."

So, let go of yesterday and embrace today with hope and joy, knowing that Christ is by your side. Don't let the memories and regrets of the past hold you back, but look forward to the new opportunities and blessings that each day brings. Trust in God's love and plan for your life, and have confidence that He will guide you and bring you through every challenge.

PRAYER: “You are my Lord and in you do I trust. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for a new day. Thank you for the gift of life and salvation. Thank you for the gift of righteousness in Christ Jesus. I am confident of your strength, provision and protection today. I know you are working all things for my good in Jesus name. Amen”
