The Unconditional Love and Grace of God

Have you ever given a gift to someone who felt the need to pay you back, either because they didn't feel they deserved the gift or because they thought it was too generous? What about if someone wronged you but you let it go, yet they still felt guilty or as though you were holding it against them?

These types of situations are common in relationships, whether it's a friendship or a marriage. People often struggle with feeling comfortable and happy around others when they feel they've done something wrong, even if the other person holds no grudges. It's hard for us to freely receive something we don't feel we've earned or deserve, and it can also be hard to freely give to others what they don't deserve. However, God is different.

In John 3:16, it says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." God is full of grace and mercy. He wants you to come to him, even if you don't feel worthy, so that he can help you become good. He wants to give you things you don't deserve, not because you've earned them, but so that you can also show grace and mercy to others. Jesus came to take our place and give us joy, peace, health, prosperity, and righteousness. Through faith in what Jesus has done for us, we can freely receive all of these things by grace and live a victorious life.

PRAYER: “Father Lord, I thank You for today. I am grateful for all that Christ has done for me and for the world. I freely receive everything that is mine in Christ Jesus; the wisdom, the provision, the protection, the strength, the health, the peace and the joy. Thank you, Father, that I am complete in You, in Jesus name! Amen.”
