The Power of Giving: A Faith-Love Practice

It's a common principle that when we give, we receive, and when we sow, we reap. This is true in many areas of life, whether it be in finance, agriculture, or even procreation. But in Christianity, there is something deeper at play when it comes to giving. It's not just about exchanging goods or services, but about expressing our faith and love through our actions.
When we accept Jesus as our savior, we are given all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. These blessings are not earned or deserved, but given to us freely through God's grace. And as believers, we have the opportunity to share these blessings with others through our giving. Whether it's through offerings, tithes, or acts of kindness, our giving is a way to express our faith and love. It's a way to prove to ourselves and the world that we trust in God's love and plan for our lives.
So, don't just give in order to receive, but give freely and cheerfully out of love. This is the true power of giving in Christianity. It's not just about receiving a return on earth, but also experiencing the joy and fulfillment of sharing God's love with others. Remember, our giving is an expression of our faith, and it positions us to receive all that Christ has given us through His grace.
PRAYER: “Thank You, King of kings, for all that you’ve given me in life. Thank you for all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Today, help me to trust You with my life and all I have. Help me understand the riches in giving to the poor and in being a vessel for the building of Your kingdom on earth, in Jesus name. Amen”
