Seeing Opportunities in Every Situation

In technical studies, we are taught that there are three ways to view any object: the front elevation, the side elevation, and the top elevation. This concept isn't just limited to how we view objects, but also how we view situations in life. Depending on our position and perspective, we can see things as problems or obstacles, as normal, or as opportunities.
It's easy to fall into the trap of seeing everything as a problem or challenge. The average person, whether they are in Ghana or Africa or somewhere else, tends to see things this way. Even believers can fall into this pattern of complaining and focusing on the negative. But Christ showed us a different way. He never saw any situation as a problem beyond Him. Whether it was a shortage of food or the presence of death or sickness, He always saw an opportunity to show the works of God. When the disciples came across a man who had been blind from birth, they asked, "Rabbi, why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents' sins?" (John 9:2). They were focused on finding fault and seeing the situation as a problem. But Christ saw it as an opportunity, saying, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened that the works of God would be displayed in him" (John 9:3).
As believers, it's important that we strive to see things from a higher perspective, looking for opportunities to show the love and power of God in every situation. It's not always easy, but with practice and a willingness to change our perspective, we can learn to see the world in a new way. Don't get stuck in a negative mindset, but instead look for the opportunities that God has placed in your life.
PRAYER: “Today, I declare that my eyes and wings are like the eagle. I confess that I see things differently. Nothing is a problem beyond me. Thank you, Lord, for the many opportunities around me. I receive wisdom to identify them. Work through me to solve them in Jesus name. Amen”
