Persistent poor performance in our work is an insult to God's nature

If we ever had the opportunity to become who we want to be without going through school, I’m sure that will be the first thing most of us will consider. What most of us don’t know is that the quality of our delivery in whatever we’ve been given to do by God is very much dependent on knowledge; knowledge not just from a class room, but from any information relevant to equip us for our work.

Paul puts it this way, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth.” II Tim 2:15. More like Paul saying, “Timothy, your work is to teach and preach the word of Truth. But though that’s what God has made you to be, He is after you doing this work rightly, so STUDY! He only approves of you to do this work when you have studied for it so you won’t be ashamed in doing your work”. Cherish knowledge and get it anyway possible. It will determine the quality of your delivery at work. And that’s what God approves of so you won’t be ashamed at it but bring glory to His name.

Persistent poor performance in your work is an insult to His nature. Most of us have once tried to achieve something right yet did it the wrong way. It probably took us much more efforts and practice before we eventually got it right. We save others the wasted time to make our mistakes before getting it when we teach them. Likewise, we also save time in what we have been given to do when we study and invest in acquiring the knowledge for them. The grades and certificate are just man’s receipt to you for acquiring knowledge from them. Study!
