Our Maker knows our purpose

The question of why mankind was created has been a question many people struggle to answer. “Why was I created? For what reason was I born? What does God want me to do?”, we ask and ask again.
Trying to find purpose has been difficult for most of us as human beings.

In Genesis 2:5-7, we read that, “Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth because there was no one to work the ground” “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being.” God held on to the provision the earth needed to grow its plants because no one was there to manage and work on it. Hence, He formed man.

Man was given a body to work. And the first responsibility God gave man was not marriage - was not a job - was not money or fame - but work. A helper was given after man had been given work or had found work. Work is what we are made for and equipped to do. Now, that is so different from a job. Imagine a doctor on the street who came across a dying person. Do you think he will do nothing because he isn’t working at a particular office or place? I guess NO! That is his work. He has been made and equipped or trained to do it.

Likewise, don’t be limited to finding a job without finding your work. Your Maker knows your purpose. Your life is designed for it. Seek Him! Know who you are and what He has equipped you to do and do just that. That’s the only definition for success.
