No need to stress and worry like an orphan. God is our Father. God is our Father. We are not orphans.

In today’s world, everyone is so excited about weekends. Parents are happy because they can now go home and spend good time with their family. Children are also excited because they can have their busy parents at home, spend time with them, and speak to them about their needs. But God’s family system is not like that of this world.

You should be glad your Father in heaven isn't like that. Jesus says that our Father in heaven is a good Father. He’s not busy looking for money while neglecting His children. He’s not a deadbeat, absentee, disinterested dad. When we talk to him, we know He hears. When we pray, and ask, we know that He listens. And better yet, He always knows what is best for us. He provides our needs, shapes us, and disciplines us, like any good father does to his children.

This is the Father we have. He is always there for us. If something touched your joy, He is there to wipe your tears and restore you with great strength. If you needed anything, His riches are yours. You can't be home and hungry. It's impossible! If you need peace, He gives to you gladly. Is it health you need? He is your loving Father. He can't watch you sick or weak.

If you can believe this, you will realize that your Father is good. Today, be captivated by this truth, and let it produce a response of awe-filled adoration in you. What a glorious thing to say, “Our Father, hallowed be your name! Let your kingdom come, and your will be done here.” No need to stress and worry like an orphan. God is our Father.
