Live by the Word

It may seem unbelievable, but everything that exists can be traced back to the Word of God. According to Hebrews 11:3, "by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." This is what we see in John 1:1-4. This Word is not just a collection of letters and sounds, but the very essence of God Himself. The Word was with God from the beginning, and the Word was God Himself.
The Word is how God reveals Himself to us and is the power by which He speaks into existence everything that we see and know. This Word was the source of all things that have been created, and without it, nothing was made.
The Word is life and light. The Word of God is a living and life-given which is why it is referred to as the "Word of Life" in 1 John 1:1. It is through this Word that we can have a living and dynamic relationship with God, and it is through this Word that we can find meaning and purpose in our lives.
As we reflect on John 1:1-4, let us remember the significance of the Word of God in our lives. Let us make it a priority to spend time in prayer and study of the Word, allowing it to transform our hearts and minds, and guide us on the path of righteousness. For in the Word of God, we find the source of all life, all truth, and all hope.
PRAYER: “Thank You, oh Lord, for a new month as this. I know You again have great plans for me this month. *Be a bright flame before me, a guiding star above me, a smooth path below me, a kindly shepherd behind me: today, tonight, and forever. Help me speak only what Your word says in Jesus name. Amen”*
