It's NOT for SALE

Christ desires to have a faithful relationship with us. Remaining faithful is essential to persevere until the end and stay focused regardless of the challenges we face. In Revelation 2:10, Christ urges us not to fear suffering and promises us the crown of life if we remain faithful unto death. In 1 Kings 21:1-3, Naboth's story illustrates the importance of staying faithful and not selling out our inheritance for temporary pleasures or material gain.

Naboth, a Jezreelite, owned a vineyard adjacent to Ahab's palace. Ahab requested that Naboth sell him the vineyard, offering a better vineyard or money in return. However, Naboth refused to sell his inheritance to Ahab, saying, "The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my fathers."

We, as heirs with Christ, have also received an inheritance. We must hold fast to our inheritance in Christ and not sell out for temporary gains, no matter how appealing they may seem. We may be tempted to trade our bodies, time, beauty, pride, or values for pleasure, fame, or other worldly pursuits. However, we must remain steadfast and resolute, just as Naboth did, and say, "No, it's not for sale!".

PRAYER: "Dear Lord, I thank You for this month and the lessons You have taught me. Help me to serve without complaint, give generously, forgive freely, and work according to Your plan for my life. May I see my inheritance in You and never sell out for temporary pleasures or material gain. May I remain faithful to You until the end. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen."
