Invest in Truth and Wisdom

Proverbs 23:23 tells us to "Invest in truth and never sell it, in wisdom and instruction and understanding." This verse is an important reminder that in a world full of distractions and temptations, it is essential to prioritize truth and wisdom.

When we think of investing, we often think of money, stocks, and other financial assets. However, the Bible tells us that there are more valuable things to invest in than just material possessions. Proverbs 23:23 reminds us that truth and wisdom are worth more than any earthly possession. These qualities are priceless, and they can enrich our lives in countless ways.

So, what does it mean to invest in truth and wisdom? Investing in truth means placing value on what is true and not just what we hear or see or are told. It means seeking out knowledge that is based on the Word of God. It also means being willing to confront our own biases and assumptions and to seek out information that challenges our worldview.

Then Solomon says, "also in wisdom". Investing in wisdom means seeking out the guidance of those who are wise and experienced. It means learning from the mistakes and successes of others and applying that knowledge to our own lives. Wisdom often moves with understanding because without understanding of knowledge, we can not apply rightly what we know.

By prioritizing truth, wisdom, understanding and instruction, we can make better decisions, grow personally, and positively impact those around us.

PRAYER: *Heavenly Father, thank you for the word today. help us to prioritize investing in truth and wisdom, so that we may make wise decisions, grow personally, and positively impact those around us. Amen.*
