God only gets behind ideas that fulfil His purposes and demonstrate His love.

Someone once said, “The right thought, plus the right people, in the right environment, at the right time, for the right reason, always produces the right result.” I believe that this is very true.

One of man's greatest gift is our thinking prowess. Thoughts breeds ideas to do evil or to do something good. However, every idea begins as a “seed thought,” What you nurture and protect becomes what you feel, behave, and eventually do. If you don't like your living, check your thoughts. Also, when you expose the right idea to the right people, great things happen.

In their company, it blossoms and becomes infused with possibility. If the thoughts God has giving you isn't yielding results, you should, probably, check the people you are exposing them to. They may motivate, encourage or promote you or they may do exactly the opposite. Know that, in the right environment, thinking is valued, ideas flow freely, changes are expected, questions are encouraged, egos are checked, ideas stimulate better ones, and thinking generates teamwork. But to be right too soon, is to be wrong.

While still in the stretching stage of an idea, present it without expectation, time frames, or rigidly defined goals. Why? Because if you try to implement your idea too early with the leading of God, it may not survive. You are not in a rush or in competition with anyone. Find the right reason to do it and do it. J. P. Morgan said, “A man always has two reasons for doing anything: a good idea, and the real reason.”

Motives matter, and selfish motives disqualify us. God only gets behind ideas that fulfil His purposes and demonstrate His love. Think, envision and pursue.
