God Makes Us Willing And Able

God had a plan for your life before you were born, and He didn’t bring you into this world to keep you idle. His purpose for you is to complete the work that He prepared in advance. While it’s admirable to dedicate yourself to a noble cause and work diligently, you may still feel unfulfilled if you’re not pursuing God’s purpose for your life. He wants you to be driven by your purpose, not just your job.

In Philippians 2:13, Paul said, “It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” God put the desire in your heart to guide you towards fulfilling His purpose. God makes us willing and able. You may ask, if God does this, why do must people struggle to do what pleases Him? The answer could be in Matthew 26:41. Jesus said, “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” There is a willingness in spirit to do what pleases God. But there is a weakness in our flesh. And, Jesus' solution is for us to PRAY. Prayer isn't just a communication between God and man. Jesus shows us that in prayer, our flesh is subdued and our spirit find expression in our body to do what pleases God.

PRAYER: “Thank You for this beautiful day. Help me rest in work. Help me know how to rest in Your love for me, knowing that today is catered for as much as every day is. Give me Your energy to work and do Your will. I cannot do it without You. I cannot keep my work with my marriage and family without You. Help me Father in Jesus name.”
