God is our Father - IV

In the modern world, weekends are eagerly anticipated by many as a chance to spend quality time with family. However, God's family structure operates differently from that of the world. Thankfully, we can take comfort in the fact that our Heavenly Father is not like earthly parents. As Jesus reminds us, our Father in heaven is a kind and attentive parent who never neglects or ignores His children. He listens when we speak to Him and provides for our needs, as any good father would. Furthermore, He knows what is best for us and helps shape and discipline us as we grow.

Our Father in heaven is always present, ready to comfort and support us in times of need. He is a rich source of peace and strength, and we need never go hungry or lack for anything in His care. By believing in His goodness and love for us, we can find peace and security in the knowledge that we are not alone. We can turn to Him for guidance and support whenever we need it.

Today, let us celebrate this wonderful truth and respond with awe and gratitude towards our Heavenly Father. Rather than worrying and stressing like orphans, we can confidently proclaim, "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.".

PRAYER: “My Most Loving Father, You who will us to give thanks for all things, and to cast all our cares on You, who cares for us. Preserve me from my faithless fears and anxieties, Father. Today, I understand that I am not an orphan and yes, I believe I am Your child. You are my Father and I choose to depend and trust You for all my needs in Jesus name. Amen”
