Finding Strength and Overcoming Doubt in the Face of Life's Challenges

Are you questioning your faith or feeling abandoned by God? It can be easy to feel this way when we face struggles and challenges, or when we pray for something and don't see it come to pass. However, it is important to remember that we are not alone in these experiences. The Bible tells us that our struggles are "common to man" (1 Corinthians 10:13). This reminder can help us to overcome feelings of doubt and isolation, and to find the strength to keep going.

It is also important to recognize that God does not exempt his followers from struggles and challenges. These experiences are a part of life in a world ruled by evil. The devil will always try to test our faith and make us doubt that it is working. However, God wants us to resist the devil and have faith in him. When we do, others will see that faith works and be drawn to believe in God as well.

No matter what age or stage of life we are in, we will face tests of faith. We cannot pray these tests away or make them disappear with a few well-chosen verses. However, we can find peace and strength in the knowledge that Jesus has overcome the world and that, through him, we too can be overcomers. So let us hold fast to our faith, even in the midst of struggles, and trust that God has not abandoned us.

PRAYER: “Lord Jesus Christ, You were poor and in distress, a captive and forsaken. You know all man’s troubles and hurts. You understand what it means to lack and be disappointed. You know what it means to suffer and yet have no help from men. Because You have lived this life before. And I am glad it was my life You lived. Today, I am rest assured that You have overcome all things for my sake. Amen”
