Finding Rest in times of frustration and fear

Resting and not worrying during times of frustration and fear is something everyone desires. However, relying on the simple phrase "trust God and don't worry" can be challenging. The key to finding peace is placing your faith in a trustworthy God, one whose name is FAITHFULNESS. When you trust in Him, you can let go of your worries. Worrying is like a thief that steals your joy and peace. It is like believing that God will not provide or do things your way, even though He knows best.
The root of all worries is the fear of not obtaining what we desire or losing what we already have. Yet, if God is our Shepherd, we lack nothing. He knows all our needs and provides for them. David stated, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." He leads us to rest in green pastures, calms our spirits beside still waters, restores our souls, and guides us on paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
In all situations, we can trust that God will provide and care for us. We must relinquish our worries and have faith in His ability to take care of us.
PRAYER: “I sometimes get bewildered by all the noise and confusion in the world. I sometimes get frightened, not knowing which way to go and which way not to go. But I ask, O Lord, to put Your hand on my shoulder and let Your strength invade my weakness and your peace flood my heart, that I will not worry about anything but trust and rest in Your love and plan for my life in Jesus name. Amen”
