Do not conform to the world

Apostle Paul says in Romans 12: 2, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may PROVE what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God".

First, the Apostle tells us that there is a pattern of the world. The believer must clearly see the world for what it is and know its pattern or ways. The Word of God breaks us free from the pattern of this world and shapes our minds to discern and do the good and acceptable and perfect will of God and makes the will of God evident.

God’s will can only be evident through the Believer whose mind is transformed, who isn’t conforming to the world. This is why we must be intentional in renewing our minds daily through reading and meditating on God's Word. As we do this, we will begin to see things from God's perspective, and our desires will begin to align with God’s which will be seen in our actions.

PRAYER: “O my Father! I desire this day to walk before You with a good conscience and new mindset of your word. I ask that You will help me renew my thoughts according to the truth about Your grace for my life, that I may see things as You will. In Jesus name. Amen”
