A faithful relationship is what Christ seeks to have with us.

A faithful relationship is what Christ seeks to have with us. Faithfulness is what will help one to hold on to the end and to stay focus no matter what comes the way. Revelation 2:10 tells us, “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer…Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life”
1 Kings 21:1-3 tells such a beautiful story - “Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard…next to the palace of Ahab king of Samaria. So, Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, ‘Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a vegetable garden, because it is near, next to my house; and for it I will give you a vineyard better than it.
Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money.’ Ever imagined yourself in his shoes? With such a seemingly reasonable request from the king; “Give me your field and I will give you a better field in return, or I will pay you whatever you ask in cash.”
What are you selling your body, time, beauty, pride, inheritance, virtues and values for? We are heirs with Christ. We have received an inheritance. What is for Christ is ours also. Naboth said to Ahab, ‘The Lord forbids that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!’. He refused to sell out his inheritance for money. He refused to sell out for that which looked “bigger and better.”
He refused to sell out in order to win the favour of those in high places. You may sell out your body for pleasure or money, may exchange your time to your church and family for promotion or wages, but you will be trading something even bigger and better - your future, your happiness, your greatness. matter what the enemy offers to you, stand on God’s word and say “NO, IT’S NOT FOR SALE!”.
